A crash on a freeway exit is causing mayhem for motorists as the afternoon rush sets in.
The incident, reported by Main Roads about 3:52pm, at the Hutton Street exit from Mitchell Freeway northbound forced the closure of the right turning lane.
Main Roads confirmed the accident was cleared about 4:05pm, but traffic is still heavy on approach.
Motorists are urged to drive carefully in the area.
