WA Police are responding to reports of a gunman in the Mid West town of Mullewa.
Significant resources have been deployed to the area after reports of a man armed with a firearm.
Anyone in the vicinity is ordered to follow instructions from police.
Mullewa is located about 450km north of Perth and 98km north-east of Geraldton, and is renowned for its abundance of wildflowers.
