A man has died after he was allegedly seriously assaulted in Melbourne’s southeast.
Reports a man was injured in an alleged assault came through shortly before 10pm on Tuesday.
Emergency services rushed to a Warrigal Road home in Cheltenham, however, the man was declared dead at the scene.
He is yet to be identified.

Police arrested a 28-year-old man at the scene.
The man remains in custody.
It is alleged the pair knew each other.
Anyone with information have been urged to come forward.
