Police are working to determine if multiple car fires in Melbourne’s southeast are linked.

Emergency services were called to Nilufa Crt in Hampton Park about 3am Thursday after reports that two cars had been fire bombed.

A short time later, another triple-0 call was made after another two cars were set alight in Oaktree Dr in Hampton Park.

A third triple-0 call was made about 3.15am after reports a car had been damaged by fire in Jessie St in Noble Park.

“Greater Dandenong Crime Investigation Unit detectives are attending each scene this morning and will investigate the circumstances surrounding the fires and whether the incidents are linked,” a police statement read.
