Thousands of spectators poured through the gates at Attwell Park Speedway on Saturday night as sprintcars made a successful return to Albany.
Albany Speedway Club, who are celebrating 60 years, hosted a round of the Maddington Toyota Sprintcar Series on December 13.
A huge crowd filled the terraces to witness the open sprintcars in action after a hiatus of more than five years in Albany.
There was action on and off the track, with qualifying, heats and dash events keeping the fans entertained.
Hundreds flocked to the pits during interval, to catch a glimpse of the sprintcar stars and their teams up close while buying merchandise and getting autographs.
Newly crowned WA champion Kaiden Manders proved too strong in the final, beating home Ryan Farrell and Jason Kendrick.
