Detectives are investigating an incident after a man was found unconscious with serious head injuries near a patch of bushland in Perth’s south east.
Emergency services rushed to the scene after a member of the public spotted the 53-year-old lying in the Settlers’ Common Environmental Centre carpark, near Triton Crescent and Trundle Trail in Bedfordale about 12.30pm on Friday.
The man — who was found next to his silver Holden Commodore sedan — sustained multiple broken ribs and serious head injuries.
The 53-year-old was rushed to Royal Perth Hospital where he remains in a serious condition.
