Police are searching for a driver who fled the scene after crashing into a business in Perth’s north on Thursday night.
Reports of a blue BMW sedan crashing into a locksmith shopfront on Erindale Road in Balcatta were made about 9.50pm.
When police arrived the driver had fled the scene, leaving behind a smashed car and and a demolished front shop window.
Department of Fire and Emergency Services officers attended to assist in making the area safe.

Officers from Road Policing Group North are investigating an incident.
Any individuals with information relating to the incident including CCTV, dash-cam, or mobile phone footage of the vehicle in the area prior to the crash, have been urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or online.
