U.S. President Donald Trump’s many grievances with Canada on trade have begun to focus on the cross-border dairy market — including accusations Canada charges triple-digit tariffs on U.S. products. Trump is set to impose “reciprocal” tariffs on foreign trading partners starting April 2 that will match duties charged on American products. He has made clear that will include Canadian dairy, in response to what he says are Canadian tariffs of at least 250 per cent and beyond.“Canada is absolutely one of the worst … in terms of charging tariffs,” he said in the Oval Office last week, specifically pointing to…

An investor who turned $700 into over $233,300 through PEPE in a matter of weeks has instead of re-investing into memecoins, turned his focus onto Mutuum Finance (MUTM), dubbing it a once in a lifetime chance to earn exponential profits. Inside Kasmin Gallery in Manhattan, more than a dozen employees huddled like a football team. It was late February and the gallery’s president, Nick Olney, was giving his staff a pep talk before his version of the big game: the opening of the first New York exhibition of work by Robert Indiana since the artist’s death in 2018. Standing next to his celebrated “LOVE” sculpture, Olney laid out the game plan. The goal: a reboot. Most people know Robert Indiana for only one thing: LOVE. The image of that four-letter word, with its jauntily tilted “o,” has appeared on city plazas,…
It is CERAWeek, the sprawling Texas energy conference, and Sultan al-Jaber, who runs the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (Adnoc), one of the world’s largest oil companies, is in high demand. Interviews with Jaber are vanishingly rare. He has been media-shy since he was named by the UAE as the president of COP28 and then flamed for holding two seemingly contradictory roles: oil boss and leader of global climate change negotiations. And it is a good time to meet. Big Oil has got its swagger back in the Trump era. “We can all feel the winds of history in our…

Early on Friday, Elon Musk shared a post written by an X user about the actions of three 20th century dictators — then quickly deleted it after it sparked a backlash. The post falsely claimed that Joseph Stalin, the communist leader of the Soviet Union until 1953; Adolf Hitler, the leader of the Nazi party in Germany; and Mao Zedong, the founder of the People’s Republic of China, didn’t cause the deaths of millions of people under their watch. Instead, the post said, their public sector workers did.Mr. Musk shared the post without any other comment. He removed it soon after…
