Three teenagers and a 12-year-old girl have been arrested by police officers following a dramatic police pursuit across Sydney’s southwest and eastern suburbs.
On Thursday morning at about 10.30am, police attempted to stop a white Mazda CX3, believed to be stolen from a home in Victoria, as it travelled through Edmondson Park on the Hume Hwy.

A high-speed pursuit ensued along the M5 towards the M7 at Prospect, before police were forced to withdraw due to safety concerns.
Police were able to re-engage after Polair tracked down the vehicle, which was travelling along the M5 motorway at Milperra.

The pursuit was called off for a second time after items – including floor mats and other personal belongings – were allegedly thrown from the car towards police vehicles.
Footage from Polair shows the car driving erratically and almost colliding with civilian vehicles as it sped through popular Sydney suburbs Alexandria, Zetland, Centennial Park, Randwick and Bondi Junction.

The Mazda involved in the pursuit was later found inside the bus interchange at Bondi Junction Railway Station, with all four occupants allegedly fleeing the vehicle and running to the train station.

Plains clothes officers spotted the group and pursued them on foot.
Two teenage boys, aged 14, and two girls aged 12 and 17, were arrested by officers who were on their first day as probationary constables.
The 17-year-old driver was charged with an array of offences, including driving dangerously, driving without a license and possessing stolen goods.
The three others were charged with being passengers in the allegedly stolen car.
All were refused bail and will appear before Childrens court on Friday.
