President Donald Trump on Monday signed an executive order officially creating the Department of Government Efficiency, the cost-cutting initiative helmed by billionaires Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy. The executive order included fresh details about DOGE’s goals and structure, such as a mandate to upgrade the government’s IT systems. Terrifying bystander footage shows the moment an experienced stuntman’s act went awry in front of a shocked crowd of onlookers at a California fair earlier this month. Chachi Valencia, whose stage name is The Rocketman Valencia, was performing his death-defying human cannonball act at the Riverside County Fair and National Date Festival in Indigo when a strong gust of wind blew him off course on March 2. “Taking it day by day with my faithful pup by his side,” David Valencia wrote in an update to Chachi’s GoFundMe page. “Grateful for time to heal and soak up all the love and snuggles.…

“He’s getting rice. That’s what we asked for and it’s cooked perfectly. Correct according to Filipino taste,” said Sara Duterte. He was asking for his personal clothes and a supply of diet cola, she said. Sara Duterte had earlier Sunday addressed a crowd of several thousand gathered in spring sunshine on the Malieveld in The Hague. Supporters shouted “bring him home”, with pro-Duterte demonstrators believing the former president was “kidnapped” to face the ICC. His lawyer Salvador Medialdea told the court on March 14 his client had been “abducted from his country”. “He was summarily transported to The Hague. To lawyers it’s extrajudicial rendition.…

The pope later left the hospital to briefly stop at the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore, which has an icon of the Virgin Mary he is devoted to, before heading to the Vatican guesthouse where he lives.“I see a woman with yellow flowers,” Francis…

Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., said he approves of President Donald Trump’s handling of fentanyl and border security.”I mean, I think cracking down on fentanyl, making sure our borders are stronger,” Sanders told ABC’s Jonathan Karl during a pre-taped segment that aired on Sunday’s “This Week.””Look, nobody thinks illegal immigration is appropriate,” Sanders said. “And I happen to think we need comprehensive immigration reform, but I don’t think that it’s appropriate for people to be coming across the border illegally. So we’ve got to work now on comprehensive immigration reform.”Sanders’ stance seems to be a departure from his 2020 presidential campaign…
