Police have released footage of the moment a sea kayaker was rescued after his boat capsized off Woodman Point.Water police received a report about 3.40pm on April 17 that a man had capsized from his kayak about two nautical miles (3.7km) off Woodman Point in Cockburn Sound.The distressed man sought help by swimming to a nearby kayaker, holding on before help arrived.Water police, a Westpac Lifesaver rescue helicopter, and Cockburn Marine Rescue were deployed to help find the man.A Royal Australian Navy warship also responded to the distress signal.The helicopter was first to locate the men within eight minutes of…
