Washington — The Small Business Administration on Friday said it is cutting more than 40% of its staff as part of the Trump administration’s wider effort to shrink the federal bureaucracy.Roughly 6,500 people, or less than half-a-percent of the entire federal workforce, are employed at the SBA, according to the most recent data available.
