Trump says government shutdown was “a big factor” in GOP election losses

President Trump blamed the Republican election losses on Tuesday in part on the government shutdown, which is now the longest in U.S. history, saying, “the shutdown was a big factor, negative for the Republicans, that was a big factor.” Democrats have demanded a deal to end the shutdown to include an extension of ACA subsidies.
