A man riding an e-bike has died in a crash involving police in Sydney’s inner south.
It is understood officers were trying to stop a man riding an e-bike on Allen St in Waterloo at about 3am on Friday when the police car collided with the bike.
NSW paramedics treated the rider, believed to be in his 40s, but he died at the scene.
It is so far unclear why police were pursuing the man.
Parts of Allen St remains closed as detectives launch an investigation.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
